Provider and purchase contract

The software provider is Philipp Smolka, trading as Philipp Smolka Software, at the address below. Paddle is the Merchant of Record for direct purchases. The purchase contract is with the Paddle entity identified there, subject to the Paddle Buyer Terms. These software terms describe the app license and supplement, without limiting, your mandatory consumer rights.

Product and price

PlotzyDraft:FlowBoard is a desktop application for organizing and writing local Markdown projects using boards, cards, a visual Story Map, and writing panels. The PlotzyDraft:FlowBoard license covers up to three devices across supported desktop platforms. The initial public release is for macOS only. Windows is not publicly available and has no announced release date. Installer availability and supported operating system versions are stated before sales open. A Linux or mobile license is not included in this offer. The regular base price is EUR 39.99. The existing 40% Early Access discount is applied automatically. Paddle supplies localized prices and calculates applicable taxes and currency amounts. This is a one-time purchase with no recurring app subscription. The website displays Paddle’s estimated total including tax; the final amount depends on the billing details entered at checkout. The app’s own local trial is independent of Paddle; no Paddle trial is offered.

License scope

After a valid purchase, you receive a non-exclusive license to use the purchased version of the app, including for your own commercial writing. The license does not transfer ownership of the software. Your original writing remains yours. Do not redistribute the app as your own, share license credentials with other users, or bypass license protection. Any rights granted by mandatory law, including applicable rights of interoperability and transfer, remain unaffected. One license permits activation on up to three devices. After initial online activation, the signed activation token is checked locally; no periodic online license check is required.

Delivery and system requirements

Delivery is digital. After Paddle confirms a completed payment to our server, we email the license key to the purchase email address. Paddle sends the payment receipt separately. Use the official download for your platform, open the app and enter that email address and the complete license key. Initial activation on each of up to three devices requires internet access; local writing continues offline afterward. Installer links and supported operating system versions must be available before sales open. If the license email does not arrive, check spam and contact support@plotzydraft.com with your order reference; do not send full card details.

Early Access and updates

Early Access software is still being developed. Features may change, and bugs may remain. Keep backups of your work and assess the available functions before buying. Roadmap items are not purchase commitments. A one-time purchase is for the purchased version; future major upgrades may be offered separately. This does not limit any statutory obligation to provide updates or remedies.

Optional third-party services

AI Assist is optional and requires a provider or endpoint you configure. Third-party accounts and usage charges are separate from the app license. You are responsible for selecting a provider appropriate for the material you send and for reviewing generated content. Ordinary writing and organization do not require an AI account.

Support, refunds, and statutory rights

Contact support@plotzydraft.com for app support. Payment and refund requests for a Paddle purchase can be made through Paddle Buyer Support. See our Refunds & Withdrawal page. Mandatory consumer rights, including remedies for defective digital products and any applicable withdrawal right, are not excluded by Early Access status or these terms. Following a refund or payment reversal, a revoked license cannot be used for future activations. Existing offline activations are not remotely disabled.

Applicable law

German law applies to the software license, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections in their country of habitual residence where those protections apply. No exclusive court venue is imposed on consumers.
